Music has been something man has taken with him through out the centuries and it gradually evolved. There were many of what I refer to as the "Corner Stone Artists." These are artists that changed the way music was traditionally played which inspired other artists creating an entire new genre. I think one of the big bands to change the way music was played was Led Zeppelin. Most of the music they were influenced by were the blues with great players such as B.B. King. Jimmy Page took a whole new approach on guitar and radically altered the basic blues style playing.
Many following artists were influenced by the individual band members of Led Zeppelin. Today there is a concurrence among all drummers that John Bonham was the best drummer ever to hold a pair of sticks and his unique playing styles have influenced many drummers to experiment with different styles of drumming. Jimmy Page is also considered a musical legend for his out of the box approach to guitar playing. Many guitarists today see him as an idol to his lack of bland repetition in his guitar playing.
Who is Jimmy Page, their lead guitar? Make information clear to readers. Definitely need pictures, albums, links. I like your thoughts and opinions, but nothing feels concrete yet. What do Bonham and Page do that makes them so special. You might want to have a post on each one of them. Love your tone, and the idea of this blog, but needs work. Thus far: C+
